Frigo Tecnica Internazionale has been in the business of designing, manufacturing and installing industrial refrigeration systems for the food, pharmaceutical, logistics and marine sectors since 1981. Each solution is custom-developed following a thorough heat load analysis and a study of usage profiles.
We build high-efficiency systems that include central refrigeration plants, chillers for secondary fluids, and systems at low and very low temperatures, down to -80 °C. We make use of natural refrigerants such as ammonia (NH₃) and CO₂, integrating technologies that ensure maximum reliability, energy savings, and regulatory compliance.
We manage the entire implementation cycle in-house: from initial thermotechnical sizing to commissioning and post-installation support. With this approach, developed over more than 40 years in business, we can guarantee our customers operational continuity, ease of maintenance, and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) optimization.

In the early 1990s Frigo Tecnica Internazionale began designing systems for the food industry, initiating the transition to solutions intended for production plants and logistics platforms. In 1996, the company started production of individual components.
Innovation and large
international projects
F.T.I. consolidates its growth by investing in innovation and energy efficiency: in 2012 it developed a certified high-performance package; in 2016 it obtained “white certificates” and built the largest plant in its history for a customer in the Middle East.

In this period it expanded its application areas and, in 2007, built the first artificial soil freezing plant, used to build mobility infrastructure, which also marked the company’s entry into the Australian market.
